“Valentine Presence”

Ocean Unity welcomes Andrea Nagy as Guest Speaker this Sunday.  Andrea has a long association with Unity and New Thought – she is the daughter of Rev. Lynne Steffen, Minister Emeritus of Ocean Unity.  She has worked as a successful physical therapist and has recently relocated to Newport to assist her family here.

This week, Andrea will be sharing with us spiritual aspect of her journey as she received a great Valentine gift.  Learn how she has been shaped by her experience and how that might help you on your journey.

Following the morning service Ocean Unity will conduct their Annual Membership meeting.  Members will be updated on the current status of the ministry, elect new Board Members, and approve proposed Bylaw changes.

Join us Tuesday, February 14 at 11:30 a.m. for the monthly book club discussion at Georgie’s Restaurant.

Continuing classes include – Thursday at 11:00 a.m. – Centering Meditation, at 1 pm. Heart-Centered Metaphysics.  Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon – A Course in Miracles, at 12:30 – Acupressure Group.

Is Unity for You?

A Course in Miracles Hal Moyers, facilitator Friday 10:30 to Noon
The Course in Miracles can be summed up very simply in this way: Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God. The course teaches that the only emotions are fear and love. Let us choose love and learn to elevate our perception to see the world clearly.

Book Club
 The Unity Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at a Georgie's restaurant in Newport.  We take a recent book selected by the Rev. Lynn Steffen, Minister Emeritus, or Luci Johnson, the bookstore manager, and discuss how its message can change our lives for the better.  It is also a social time and provides an opportunity to interact with others.  Books are available at our Ocean Unity bookstore.  Meetings are held at 11:30 AM.
